What is the partnership between SEU and Trinity Worship Center?

Triad School of Ministry is a ministry of Trinity Worship Center in Burlington, NC. Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL) partners with Trinity Worship Center to host an instructional site on the church campus. With regional accreditation, Southeastern University is well established and proud to offer students opportunities to discover their divine design. The combination of higher education through SEU and hands-on experience at Trinity, creates a learning environment that is truly unique in ministry training. We believe it's the best path to unlocking the call on your life and posturing you to change your world.

Is SEU accredited?

Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. What is the application process?

Our application consists of an online application form and a face-to-face interview. Once we determine that you would be a good fit for Triad School of Ministry, we will assist you in applying for Southeastern University. All Triad School of Ministry students must be enrolled at SEU to be considered for final acceptance. There are a few additional steps that SEU requires that we will guide you through to complete your application process. How do I apply for financial aid?

Some students may be eligible to receive federal and state financial aid. To explore your options and learn more about Financial Aid and Payment Plans, please visit partners.seu.edu/financial-aid-steps.


Are students required to live in TSOM apartment housing?

Though our apartment housing is optional, we recommend students strongly consider it as an essential part of the student life and community experience.


Is Trinity Worship Center affiliated with a denomination?

Yes. Trinity Worship Center has been a member church of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) since 1924. We are proud of our rich history, but even more excited for our bright future. We welcome students from many different church backgrounds, including Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, non-denominational, and many others. Southeastern University is affiliated with the Assemblies of God.


Do I need a car?

A working vehicle is highly recommended and helpful for getting around town. If a student lives in TSOM housing, they will be within walking distance of our location. You may also choose to find rides with other students. Transportation will be provided to major events and conferences.


Will I be able to work while at Triad School of Ministry?

Yes. There are available times where students may choose to work a flexible, part-time job to supplement costs. However, as with any school, the responsibilities of TSOM will take precedence. Students will want to choose a job that is flexible with the rigorous schedule of a full-time student.


Are students required to have a computer or laptop?

Yes. A computer or tablet is required to complete assignments and other ministry tasks. Students will have regular assignments and be required to write papers, work on research projects, complete ministry work, and use web-based applications during their time at Triad School of Ministry.


I’m not sure if I want to go into full-time ministry. Should I still apply for Triad School of Ministry?

Absolutely! Whether you are pursuing a degree in ministry or simply want to gain biblical foundations for life and leadership, we have a place for you at TSOM. This program will teach valuable lessons that will translate to every area of life.


Can I visit the campus?

We have several options for you to visit the campus of Triad School of Ministry / Trinity Worship Center. Go to triadministry.com and scroll down to “Plan a Visit.” You are welcome to visit one of our worship experiences, attend an interest meeting, preview day event, or we can set up a one-on-one visit.


What does Triad mean?

Triad simply refers to the region of north-central North Carolina of which Greensboro, High Point, and Winston-Salem are major cities. With over 1.6 million inhabitants, the Triad is a growing metropolitan area with small-town, Southern charm. We are located in Burlington, NC, just 15 minutes east of Greensboro.


What other costs are associated with Triad School of Ministry?

Other costs to consider during your time at Triad School of Ministry include books, personal expenses such as food, clothing, vehicle, and other bills. Students may choose to seek a flexible, part-time job to work at available times. We also encourage students to reach out to family and friends to support their journey at Triad School of Ministry. You may choose to do this through support letters, social media, or online campaigns.
